Buddy & Melanie Brents

The Brents family has served in Japan since 1995. Ashley is our book loving, Facebook chatting, great big sister oldest daughter! Adam is our math whiz, take it apart and fix it, loves to read oldest son! Avery is our athletic, loves to talk, never meet a stranger youngest daughter!

Buddy and Melanie serve as the IMB Tokyo Projects Coordinator/Volunteer Mobilizers. They passionately desire to see Japanese come to know Jesus and reproducing churches started.

Buddy is a Sci Fi fan, loves to play Sim City on his computer, and enjoys traveling to new and exciting places. Melanie enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with family, and traveling too! Buddy and Melanie have been married since 1990 and call Texas home.

Their favorite foods are all things Mexican, pizza, Japanese ton-katsu (fried pork cutlet), and cereal. While Melanie and Avery enjoy sushi from time to time, Buddy, Ashley, and Adam try to avoid it at all cost.
