God is Still Calling Out Laborers for Summer 2009 in Tokyo

Even in spite of the economic down turn, God continues to answer the call to herald the Gospel to people who have never hear. IMB Missionaries in Tokyo are anticipating around 300 volunteers to hit the streets for prayer walking and bold evangelism. Luke 10:2 says, “Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” The Father continues to send servants of grace and mercy to Japan!

Please pray that the Lord of the Harvest will provide the resources for those planning to come to Tokyo this summer.

How has God used this trip in your own life?
· I felt more than ever in my life that spiritual warfare is real and close.

What advice would you give future teams in order for them to prepare better for coming to Japan?
· Practice sharing your testimony before you come.
· Practice one-on-one evangelism.

· Be prepared to talk to people. Don’t come expecting to sit back and not be engaged actively in seeking out Japanese to talk to and share your faith with.
· Be in constant prayer, and be prepared to battle Satan.
· Get in shape for a lot of walking! Bring good shoes and drink a lot of water.
· Pray before, during, after, always.
· Be flexible.
